I've been pretty quiet on here because there's really not much going on. I had an adjustment about a week ago. My ortho remarked that "we have a nice underbite going on." So I guess that's a good thing. I feel like things aren't moving fast enough. Originally I was told that I would be in braces for a year before surgery. Well, next month it will be one year. I hope I am ready by December and can have my surgery during my winter break. I have a week and a half of freedom before I head back to school. Congratulations to all of you who recently had surgery. It looks like you all are doing great!

Hi Aimee.. Well sounds as though I'm about the same level as you... Was a year in July and looking to hopefully have my surgery over my winter break.. Are you having both jaws done? Would be ace to be surgery buddies :) xxx
lol Yeah, I remember that comment about the "nice underbite." To me there was nothing nice about it!!!Good luck on getting a date. I know by now your prob wanting to get the whole thing over and done with.
wow, time has just gone by so fast. I think i can recall that we got our braces round about the same time or wait you got yours a month before i got mine. i feel like time is moving realy fast. i think if you get a compliment when you go for an adjustment its a good thing.
Hi Aimee,
Came across your blog upon doing a google search of Dr. Relle...
I'm going in for double jaw surgery in March through Kaiser. Was your experience with Dr. Relle a good one?
You know anyone else who had Dr. Relle? Do they have blogs?
Hope you're doing well!

Hi RMS,
Dr. Relle did Wired Lady's double jaw surgery. I think she was quite happy with him. I've only met him once. I'm hoping to have my surgery in December if my teeth are ready. I'm surprised you already have a surgery date. I've had my braces on since last September and was told I would have them on for a year before surgery, but it will end up being more than a year. I can't wait to get this over with. Good luck to you,
Aimee
