Another Question

I don't have a recliner chair and I've heard you need to sit up while you sleep after surgery. I was wondering if I should just use regular pillows or if it would be worth it to invest in one of these. Have any of you used these types of pillows and if so, which do you think would be best? Thanks!
(hmm, that middle one looks a little drastic)

I have the top pillow with the arm rests. I use that pillow along with 2 regular pillows for comfort. I'm even having to sleep this way. It's not all that comfortable to sleep in, but you get used to it.

I'm pondering the same questions, so will be watching to see what the verdict is :)

Hmm the middle one can probably be knocked over and used the other way too, for a more gradual incline...

The picture of the "pillow" with the arms: I have on elike that. IT's pink loepard print, and I use it to sit up in bed and read. And I think that it is comfortable. It's not as fancy as the picture you have...but I would think that it would be worth it.

I bought a body pillow and one extra regular pillow. I stacked the two normal ones, laid 1/2 the body on top of those and let the rest lay to my side. It helped keep me from rolling over and only cost me $15 tops for them both. Check out my blog for more details about what I packed and what I used while recovery, it might help answer some questions... good luck with your surgery! :))

I used the bottom two after my first surgery (the lower is to elevate your knees.) Totally comfortable. Loved it.

Hello. I just found your blog today... I had my surgery 9 days ago. It didn't occur to me to get extra pillows. But I would highly recommend them. I just triple stacked regular pillows and another for under my legs. That didn't work so well. The biggest pain I have post-surgery is my neck and back. Not my jaw...
So, I would definitely invest in special pillows.
